Acting Chair

A freelance filmmaker for more than 25 years, Hank has edited for film and television and  facilitated more than 150 community films in both England and New Zealand. He currently collaborates with special schools and support services like Interacting and A Supported Life, alongside his part-time work at Kotuku Trust.

Tēnā koutou.  I have been teaching in Specialist Schools for over 20 years and I have seen many times how the performing arts brings out the best in people. Interacting is an amazing showcase for the special needs community and I’m proud to be a part of it.

Carol Molamure 

Treasurer

Carol is an experienced accountant and tax agent, has been serving diverse clients independently for over 30 years in Auckland. Originally from London, she’s deeply rooted in the Kiwi community. Carol has been actively involved with Interacting since 2007, serving as Treasurer since 2017.

Nick Lamb

Board Member

Nick, a long-time participant in Interacting film workshops, became a community representative on the Interacting board in 2023, leveraging experience from his role in his father’s investment company. He volunteers with the Salvation Army, providing food for vulnerable individuals in west Auckland, and regularly attends art classes at Mapura Studios.

Sunita Patel

Secretary

Sunita has been a member of Interacting community for 9 years. She assists with tutoring the Henderson drama class, as well as relieving other drama and hip-hop classes. She also works for the InterACT festival as the Workshop Coordinator and graphic designer.

Lokelani Lum-King 

Board Member

Lokelani is a freelance graphic designer and has been a volunteer for a number of non-profit organisations in the United States, England and New Zealand. This includes notable work for the Auckland Museum,the Pasifika Festiva and the Kōkua Hawai’i Foundation. She has also served on the board of the American Institute of Graphic Arts, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in the states.
