Sabrina is the driving force behind Interacting. From fundraising and admin work to running drama classes, she does it all. When she's not doing that, she's teaching piano to school kids. And oh ya, she is also the Director of our annual InterAct Disability Arts Festival

Tyrese has been a dynamic part of Interacting for over five years. His hip hop classes are packed with energy and creativity and the performances by his "crew: bring fire to the stage! When he's not dancing he enjoys watercolours and weaving... no just kidding, he's dance crazy! 

Paula isn’t just the founder of Interacting—she’s its heart and soul. A pioneer in bringing drama therapy into special education in Aotearoa, her passion has led her to write two books on the subject. When she’s not immersed in Interacting’s world, you’ll likely find her hopscotching across Europe and the UK.

For over 20 years, Hank has been creating award-winning community films across England and New Zealand. Along with Interacting, he’s made countless films for special schools, disability service providers, and individuals. Hank is passionate about telling stories that empower people and bring a bit of humour and meaning to a chaotic world.

John Goudge is an actor, director, and musician who leads Henderson drama classes our A2A group and our InterAct Festival Committee. With 30+ years of experience, John has trained hundreds of performers and recently won an award for his one man play at the Auckland Fringe..

Nina holds court in East Auckland with her infectious energy and enthusiasm. She's also a model, dancer and influencer in her own right. When she's not living it large, she's painting her nails or riding in a fast sports car with the wind in her hair... I'm guessing.

For more than eight years, Sunita has brought her energy and creativity to Interacting— enriching drama classes, working the Festivals and adding flair through her graphic design. As a member of our Board of Trustees, she continues to shape the heart and vision of what we do..

Archie is a recent graduate of Screen Production at AUT, and although he might be the new kid on the block—he's already established his legendary status. Archie is inspired to tell stories from the margins with folks that often get overlooked—and he's keen to have a laugh while he’s at it.

Janet is a veteran of the stage. She brings decades of creativity and passion to her classes. For Janet, drama isn’t just a subject—it’s a way of life. She thrives on the energy of Interacting’s workshops and delights in the unique spark every participant brings to the performance.

Brittany has a background in contemporary dance and Dance Movement Therapy, She enjoys choreographing, performing, and leading movement sessions. She brings playfulness and creativity to her work with the Henderson dance crew and loves to be part of the Interacting community.

Mel is an enigma. No last name, no photo—just the quiet force holding Interacting together. Whether in the office or backstage, she runs the show from the shadows. No spotlight, no glory—just Mel, making it all work. If you ever see Mel, say thanks for all the fish. 

Zac is our behind-the-scenes hero at Interacting—always ready to roll up his sleeves and dive into whatever’s needed. He loves connecting with people and takes pride in bringing a smile to every face he meets.
