COMMUNITY CLASSES
We run affordable, weekly classes throughout the school term in drama, filmmaking and hip hop dance.
They are packed with fun and creative activities for a wide variety of people.
Drama
Our drama classes are fun and inclusive.
Led by a skilled instructors, the classes provide a place where every voice is valued and encouraged. Through the power of storytelling, students learn to play characters, understand different perspectives, and communicate with each other. Each class includes exercises and improvisation, giving individuals a chance to explore and unlock hidden talents.

We hope our special approach helps our students get ready to face the world and conquer the stage.

At our annual InterAct Festival our classes put on plays for the public and the disabled community. It gives us something to work towards during the year.

Hip Hop dancing
Our Hip Hop classes celebrate the joy of movement and self-expression in a supportive environment. Participants learn hip hop steps, grooves, and choreography tailored to their abilities. The students build confidence, coordination, and social skills, led by experienced tutors who are also amazing dancers.
The class embraces each person’s unique strengths, giving a sense of belonging and empowerment.

Film Making
The community filmmaking workshops are facilitated by Hank Snell. These workshops enable participants to write, perform and shoot a short film.
​
The results are often unique and they can help participants build confidence and skills.
Hank runs classes every Friday from 12-2pm at Corbans Estate in Henderson during the school terms. Currently there are no classs at Nathan Homestead. We are also offering 3 day intensive holiday programs if you can’t make these classes, so feel free to enquire about the next program.
